Active and Passive Beamforming Design for Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface Assisted CR-NOMA Networks

In this letter, a underlay cognitive radio inspired non-orthogonal multiple access (CR-NOMA) network assisted by the reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) technique is conceived to maximize energy efficiency (EE), while all users (CUs) are located in “dead zone”. particular, CUs could only receive information from base station (CBS) via RIS. The EE maximization optimization problem which non-convex has been constructed realize joint beamforming design at both CBS and RIS with constraints of primary user’s (PU) interference power restriction CUs’ rate fairness. Moreover, we propose alternating pragmatic iterative algorithm (APIA) optimize until final value converges.
